equine assisted learning courseRB Course 005: Chi & Groundwork: Harness Your Inner Energy to Teach Your Horse To Become Bombproof & Safe!

Description: This 2 day/16 hour-long clinic teaches participants to learn how to feel and manipulate their own bio-energetic fields; namely, their own vital energy, known as chi. This course will take anyone from a complete novice to an accomplished horsewoman or horseman and teach them not only to feel their own chi with certainty and confidence but also how to use that recognition to train your horse. The course uses principles borrowed from Native American, Zen Buddhist, and Chinese philosophies to produce an integrated, natural, safe approach to training horses. The course teaches such skills as:

  • Sending horses out over obstacles & jumps
  • Using chi to load and unload your horse out of a trailer without touching it
  • Getting your horse to come to you from across the round pen on command
  • Teaching your horse to slow its gait down in synchronization to your breathing
  • “Bomb proofing” your horse to such surprises as balloons, plastic bags, umbrellas, hoola hoops, and—yes--even rattlesnakes!
  •

"I was at ease attending every aspect of your lectures, as I did not perceive a fervent or dogmatic approach in passing on your knowledge, but a quiet satisfaction and conviction that you have found a way which is good and works in areas of learning and therapy where appropriate. I am grateful for your immense generosity and open hearts to share your wisdom and experiences with us."
